I am working on the revisions of Rekasha’s Folly again, as I have finished NaNoWriMo.

I have sent the first five chapters to be critiqued, so the excerpt is not far away!  Check it out at:

Rekasha Homebrede uses her skills as an assassin to protect her siblings.

I have made it past the halfway mark in my NaNo Novel! I don’t know how much of it is actual story and how much is fluff, but the words are there! I hope many of you are joining me on this wonderful journey and making great progress! Until next time!

“What doesn’t kill you will make you stronger.” I don’t know who said that, but they must have gone through a traumatic break up.

No, I don’t mean there was or is drama involved. Just a broken heart and mending. There is the separation of stuff still left to do, but I have begun and he is dragging his feet.

I have found the death of one relationship opens me up to a better one.

I got weak about a week and a half ago. I asked him to come home, but he said he wasn’t ready for that. Now, I don’t feel that weak and he thinks I want to talk to him about getting back together. What a strange situation.

On the writing front, I have found that my creativity is a bit strained. Well, that’s putting it lightly. I can’t seem to get any words on the page for NaNoWriMo, except for a kind of journal about my broken heart. Maybe that can be my new book…

I have found someone that I’m interested in. We have begun seeing each other. I’m not sure where it will lead, if it goes anywhere at all. That’s okay, because we are talking about it each step of the way and making sure we are both okay with where it’s going so far. I like that. We are talking about things that matter. We talk about our beliefs and our thoughts on those beliefs. A great place to start.
